Scott Chandler (American Football)
William Scott Chandler (born July 23, 1985) is a former American football tight end. He played college football at Iowa and was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He also played for the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots. Early years Chandler played in high school in Texas at Southlake Carroll. As a senior, he helped his team achieve an undefeated season (16–0 record) and the Class 5A Division II state title. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense (sports), offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Allen Jay Riemersma (born May 17, 1973) is a former American football tight end. He played for the University of Michigan from 1994 to 1995. Peter Henry Metzelaars (born May 24, 1960) is a former American football tight end who played for the Seattle Seahawks, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, and Detroit Lions in a sixteen-year career in the National Football League.
