The Oklahoma House of Representatives is the lower house of the legislature of the U.S. state of Oklahoma. Its members introduce and vote on bills and resolutions, provide legislative oversight for state agencies, and help to craft the state's budget. The upper house of the Oklahoma Legislature is the Oklahoma Senate. The Oklahoma Constitution established the powers of the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 1907. Joe Dorman
Joseph E. Dorman (born September 18, 1970) is an American politician who served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives, representing the 65th electoral district. He is a member of the Democratic Party. An Oklahoma State University alumni, Dorman served in numerous roles in the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Legislature and worked in the Oklahoma House of Representatives, before being elected to represent the 65th electoral district in 2002. He is term limited out of office in 2014. Dorman was the Democratic nominee for Governor of Oklahoma in the 2014 gubernatorial election, eventually losing to incumbent Mary Fallin. Toni Hasenbeck (born August 17, 1971) is an American politician who has served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from the 65th district since 2018.
