Scooby Apocalypse
''Scooby Apocalypse'' is a monthly comic book series, published by DC Comics, which began in May 2016. It re-imagines the characters from the ''Scooby-Doo'' franchise, particularly the 1969 TV series ''Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!'', setting them in a post-apocalyptic world. The comic was conceived by a DC Comics co-publisher and artist, Jim Lee, as part of a major reboot using Hanna-Barbera characters to create a new Hanna-Barbera comic-book universe. Lee worked on the first issue's cover and several more after that (before interior artist Howard Porter took over). The series ended in April 2019. Premise "Those meddling kids" and their Mystery Machine are at the center of a well-meaning experiment gone wrong and they will need to bring all of their mystery solving skills to bear (along with plenty of Scooby Snacks) to find a cure for a world full of mutated creatures infected by a nanite virus that enhances their fears, terrors, and baser instincts. Jim Lee
Jim Lee (; born August 11, 1964) is a Korean-born American comic book artist, writer, editor, and publisher. As of 2023, he is the President, Publisher, and Chief creative officer, Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics. In recognition of his work, Lee has received a Harvey Award, Inkpot Award and three Wizard Fan Awards. Lee got his start in the industry in 1987 as an artist for Marvel Comics, illustrating titles such as ''Alpha Flight (comic book), Alpha Flight'' and ''The Punisher War Journal'' before becoming widely popular through his work on ''The Uncanny X-Men''. Atom Ant is a cartoon ant and superhero, created by Hanna-Barbera in 1965. Atom costarred in '' The Atom Ant/Secret Squirrel Show'' (sharing top billing with Secret Squirrel) on Saturday mornings. In syndication, Atom Ant aired alongside '' The Hillbilly Bears'' and '' Precious Pupp''. Reruns aired on cable on Cartoon Network and Boomerang in the 1990s and 2000s. ''Secret Squirrel'' is a cartoon character created by Hanna-Barbera for '' The Atom Ant/Secret Squirrel Show'', which debuted in 1965 on Saturday mornings. The character was given his own show in 1966, titled ''The Secret Squirrel Show'', but was reunited with Atom Ant for one more season in 1967. The half-hour ''The Secret Squirrel Show'' included three individual cartoon segments: "Secret Squirrel and Morocco Mole", " Squiddly Diddly" and " Winsome Witch". Burning Man is a week-long large-scale desert event focused on "community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance" held annually in the Western United States.
