School Of Kinesiology
The School of Kinesiology is the school of physical education and sport studies at the University of Michigan, a public research university in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Established in 1921 as the Department of Physical Education, the unit became the independent Division of Kinesiology in 1990 and was constructed as the School of Kinesiology in 2008. Academics The school focuses on the scientific study of human movement and how physical activity and sport affect our quality of life, community, and society at large. Jessica Berman (born 1977) is an American lawyer who has served as the commissioner of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) since 2022. Early life Berman grew up in a Conservative Jewish family in Brooklyn, New York. She attended East Midwood Jewish Center. She was the manager of the boys' baseball team at James Madison High School.
