Egon Leo Adolf Ludwig Schiele (; 12 June 1890 – 31 October 1918) was an Austrian Expressionist painters, painter. His work is noted for its intensity and its raw sexuality, and for the many self-portraits the artist produced, including nude self-portraits. The twisted body shapes and the expressive line that characterize Schiele's paintings and drawings mark the artist as an early exponent of Expressionism. Martin Schiele (17 January 1870 – 16 February 1939) was a German manufacturer (brickworks in Reckling and Neu-Schollene, which also included the starch factory in Neu-Molkenberg) and lord of the manor (Rittergut Neu-Schollene near Rathenow).
