Georg Schenk von Limpurg (1470–1522) was the Prince-Bishop of Bamberg from 1505 to 1522. Biography Georg Schenk von Limpurg was born in Obersontheim in 1470. He was elected Prince-Bishop of Bamberg on 13 February 1505, with Pope Julius II confirming his appointment on 18 April 1505. He was consecrated as a bishop by Kaspar Preiel, auxiliary bishop of Bamberg, on 20 October 1505. In 1507, he appointed Johann of Schwarzenberg to reform the law of Bamberg; Johann of Schwarzenberg drafted the ''Halsgerichtsordnung'' (Procedure for the judgment of capital crimes) of Bamberg (also known as the ''Bambergensis''), which would later form the basis of the '' Constitutio Criminalis Carolina'' (1530–32). Juraj Schenk (born May 6, 1948) is former Foreign Minister of Slovakia from 1994 to 1996 in cabinet of Vladimír Mečiar. Schenk studied sociology at the Univezita Komenského, Bratislava and is working there since 1972. In 1994 he became a professor of sociology and is teaching there until now. His main professional interests include sociological methodology, self-organisation of social systems ( synergetics, chaos theory), causal modelling, construction of sociological theories and empirical research. Juliane Schenk
Juliane Schenk (born 26 November 1982) is a German badminton player. In March 2014 she retired from international play. Career In 2001, she won the European Junior Championships in women's singles. 2003 saw her win the women's doubles with Nicole Grether in two tournaments, the Irish International and the Bitburger Open. Schenk played badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics, losing in women's singles to Tracey Hallam of Great Britain in the round of 32. She also won the German championship in the women's doubles with Grether for the first time. She also competed in women's doubles with partner Grether. They defeated Michelle Edwards and Chantal Botts of South Africa in the first round but were defeated by Ann-Lou Jørgensen and Rikke Olsen of Denmark in the round of 16.
