Schalkse Ruiters
''Schalkse Ruiters'', translated as "Roguish Horsemen", was a Flemish humoristic TV talk and game show, broadcast on the TV channel Eén between late 1996 and early 1998. The program was a cross between a comedy show, a talk show, a game show and a mockumentary. Hosted by Bart De Pauw and Tom Lenaerts viewers were shown three video reports about three different topics. The people in the studio and viewers at home had to vote whether they believed each individual video to be real or staged. In between these reports hidden camera segments and comedy sketches were shown. At the time ''Schalkse Ruiters'' was notorious for their sensational reports, unpredictable atmosphere and enjoyable comedy. The final episode of the first season, when managing director of the Vlaamse Radio-en Televisieomroep (Flemish Public Radio and Television) Bert De Graeve was their guest, was watched by 2.166 million people. VTM (TV Channel)
VTM or Vlaamse Televisie Maatschappij ( English: ''Flemish Television Company'') is the main commercial television station in Flanders (the Dutch-speaking northern region of Belgium) and forms part of a network of channels owned by DPG Media (formerly Medialaan). It was launched on 1 February 1989 as the second commercial television channel in Belgium after the French-speaking RTL-TVI, and quickly became the most popular TV channel in the Flemish part of Belgium. In association football, the Belgian Golden Shoe (, , German: ''Goldener Schuh'') is an award given in Belgium at the beginning of each civil year to the best footballer of the Belgian Pro League for the past year. The trophy is sponsored by the Belgian newspaper . The voters are a selection of Belgian press specialists and football personalities. They are invited to vote for the best player of the competition for both half seasons (previous season second half and current season first half) and each get to submit a top three, scoring 3, 2 and 1 point respectively. As a result, a player can receive all of his votes in one half season (e.g. if he joined the championship from abroad during summer), or he can receive votes for matches with two (or more) different teams, as with Philippe Albert in 1992 and Mbark Boussoufa in 2006. Franky Van Der Elst
Franky Van der Elst (born 30 April 1961) is a Belgian retired professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He later worked as a manager. During a 21-year professional career he played mainly with Club Brugge, being regarded as a legend there and briefly coaching the team in the 2000s. Running Gag

Buiten De Zone (English translation: ''Outside The Zone'') was a 1994-1996 Flemish humoristic-satirical TV series aimed at a teenage demographic. It was a combination of a sitcom and a sketch show and was broadcast on the Flemish public TV channel TV1. It gained a cult status and has been rerun several times since. The show was furthermore important for launching the notability of TV host Bart De Pauw, who both co-wrote and acted in the series. Concept ''Buiten De Zone'' is set at a call center named ''De Jongerenfoon'' (''The Young Adult Phone''), where five young adults have to take calls to help out teenagers and tweens with questions and problems.
