Scarney refers to several abstract strategy games invented by John Scarne starting in the late 1920s, released with names referencing the inventor, including Scarnie, Scar-Nee, Scarney 3000, and Skarney. Although they bear similar names, they may be grouped into three general types, each with distinct rules and gameplay: # Board games: Scarnie, Scar-Nee, I.Q.
