Robert Hutton (actor)
Robert Hutton (born Robert Bruce Winne; June 11, 1920 – August 7, 1994) was an American actor. Early life Robert Bruce Winne was born in Kingston, New York, and grew up in Ulster County, New York. He was the son of a hardware merchant and was a cousin of the Woolworth heiress Barbara Hutton. He attended Blair Academy, a small boarding school in Blairstown, New Jersey. Career Before he ventured into films, Hutton acted at the Woodstock Playhouse in Woodstock, New York, for two seasons. His film debut as Robert Hutton came in ''Destination Tokyo'' (1943). Hutton resembled actor Jimmy Stewart: during World War II, when Stewart enlisted in the Army Air Forces in March 1941, Hutton benefited from "victory casting" in roles that would ordinarily have gone to Stewart. Marjorie Stapp (September 17, 1921 – June 2, 2014) was an American actress who was mainly in low-budget pictures. Biography Stapp began her film career when she signed a contract with the film studio 20th Century-Fox in the 1940s. Her first screen appearance was in '' The Kid from Brooklyn'', a 1946 film starring Danny Kaye. This was followed by another minor appearance in '' Linda, Be Good'' (1947). George Cisar (July 28, 1912 – June 13, 1979) was an American actor who performed in more than one hundred roles in two decades as a character actor in film and television, often in prominent Hollywood productions. He frequently played background parts such as policemen or bartenders. Career In 1949, Cisar co-starred with a young Mike Wallace in the short-lived police drama '' Stand By for Crime''.
