Saša Todorović
Saša Todorović ( sr-cyr, Саша Тодоровић; born 1974) is a politician in Serbia. He served in the Assembly of Vojvodina from 2008 to 2014 and was the mayor of Sombor from 2014 to 2016. Originally a member of the far-right Serbian Radical Party (''Srpska radikalna stranka'', SRS), he later joined the breakaway Serbian Progressive Party (''Srpska napredna stranka'', SNS). Early life and career Todorović was born in Sombor, in what was then the Socialist Republic of Serbia in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. He graduated from the University of Novi Sad's Department of History, and from 2002 to 2013 he worked as a history teacher at a variety of schools in Sombor. Tomislav Nikolić
Tomislav Nikolić ( sr-Cyrl, Томислав Николић, ; born 15 February 1952) is a Serbian former politician who served as the president of Serbia from 2012 to 2017. A former member of the far-right Serbian Radical Party (SRS), he disassociated himself from the party in 2008 and formed the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) which he led until 2012. Born in Bajčetina, a village near Kragujevac, Nikolić was a long-time member of parliament for SRS. He served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia from 1998 to 1999 and Deputy Prime Minister of FR Yugoslavia in the coalition government from 1999 to 2000. Nikolić was the deputy leader of SRS from 2003, and he briefly served as the President of the National Assembly of Serbia in 2007. 2016 Serbian Local Elections
Local elections were held in most cities and municipalities of Serbia (excluding the disputed territory of Kosovo) on 24 April 2016, with repeat voting later taking place in some jurisdictions. The elections were held concurrently with the 2016 Serbian parliamentary election and the 2016 Vojvodina provincial election. Elections were not held for the City Assembly of Belgrade, as its members were elected on a different four-year cycle (although local assembly elections were held in the City of Belgrade's constituent municipalities).
