Sayram ( ) is a rural locality located in eastern Shymkent on the Sayram Su River, which rises at the nearby 4000-meter mountain Sayram Su. In medieval times, the city and countryside were located on the banks of the Arys River, into which the Sayram Su river flows. Since 2018, it has been part of Shymkent City. Sayram Lake (; ; ), also known as ''Santai Haizi'' ( zh, 三台海子) or historically the "Clean Sea" (), is an endorheic freshwater lake in the northern Tianshan Mountains at Börtala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, China, less than from the border with Kazakhstan. The name ''Sayram'' originally derives from Kazakh, meaning "blessing". The lake is the largest () and also the highest (at ) alpine lake in Xinjiang, largely filled by glacial meltwater, residual precipitation from the Eurasian westerlies and runoffs from the surrounding mountain chains, as well as some groundwater springing and seepage. Baicheng County ( zh, c=拜城县) as the official romanized name, also transliterated from Uyghur as Bay County (pronounced like 'bye', , ;, United States National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency zh, s=拜县), is a county in Aksu Prefecture of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China. History In 1882, the county was established. On 6 November 1997, a member of a Xinjiang separatist group, Muhammat Tursun, fatally shot imam Yunus Sidiq Damolla at his mosque in Baicheng County. Hüseyin Sayram
Hüseyin Sayram (1905 – 23 December 1988) was a Turkish politician, provincial chief of the Republican People's Party (CHP). He was the second of the three sons of the Turkish theologian Hacı Zühtü Efendi. He also had a younger and an older sister. Hüseyin Sayram was the starter and patriarch of Sayram family line. Hüseyin was born into a family of a long line of Muslim theologians. He had a fierce positivist intellect and with an ear for music. He was also an accomplished athlete, a sprinter. Sairam Negmatovna Isaeva (born 24 November 1942) is a Tajik actress. People's Artist of the Tajik SSR (1986). Early life and education Sairam Isaeva was born on 24 November 1942 in Stalinabad, Tajik SSR (now Dushanbe, Tajikistan). She is Tajik by nationality. In 1964, she graduated from the Tashkent Theatre and Artistic Art Institute, named after Alexander Ostrovsky. Sairam Iyer is an Indian singer, based in Mumbai, India. He has sung in Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, and Gujarati languages. Career Sairam Iyer was influenced by Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle.
