Sawaal (film)
''Sawaal'' (; translation: Question) is a Hindi drama film produced by Yash Chopra and directed by Ramesh Talwar, released in 1982. The music was composed by Khayyam and the lyrics were written by Majrooh Sultanpuri. Despite an all-star cast, it did not succeed at the box office. Plot Seth Dhanpat Rai Mehta (Sanjeev Kumar) is the country's most powerful smuggler who is surrounded by his fortress of power and money. His daughter Sonia (Poonam Dhillon) falls in love with Ravi Malhotra (Shashi Kapoor), a police officer and wants to marry her. Dhanpat Rai very soon realizes that his son Vikram (Randhir Kapoor) has also taken a path that goes against the one he travels. Vikram has been engaged to a pretty but poor girl Reshmi (Swaroop Sampat). Now the question begins to haunt Seth Dhanpat Rai. Ramesh Talwar
Ramesh Talwar is an Indian film, theatre, television and film director, co-producer and actor. He is the nephew of the film writer, short story writer and playwright Sagar Sarhadi. Talwar began his career as a child artist in ''Love in Simla'' (1960), '' Dhool Ka Phool'' (1959) and '' Phool Aur Kaliyan'' (1960) (produced by V Shantaram; directed by Ram Gabale) which was a National Award winner – Gold medal for best children's film. He was Yash Chopra's assistant director between 1969 and 1979 and directed several films 1977 onwards. Prem Chopra
Prem Chopra (born 23 September 1935) is an Indian actor in Hindi films. He has acted in 380 films over a span of over 60 years. Life and education Chopra, the third of six children of Ranveerlal and Rooprani Chopra, a Punjabi Hindu family, was born on 23 September 1935, in Lahore. After the partition of India, his family moved to Shimla, where he was brought up. He studied in S.D. Senior Secondary School, Shimla. Bhanu Athaiya
Bhanu Athaiya (née Rajopadhye; 28 April 192915 October 2020) was an Indian costume designer and painter. She was the first Indian to win an Academy Awards, Academy Award. Alongside being Bollywood's most iconic costume designer, she had a historically important early career as an artist with contemporaries like M. F. Husain, F. N. Souza and Vasudeo S. Gaitonde.
