Honoré Savy
Honoré Savy (1725–1790) was the founder of a factory that manufactured faience wares in Marseille, France, between 1749 and 1790. He is associated with the Veuve Perrin and Leroy factories. History Around 1749 a new period of faience manufacture began in which the first factory was established by Honore Savy in which polychrome decoration succeeded the earlier style using blue with some violet. A letter of 27 September 1765 to M. Bertin described Savy as a master of fayance fabrication for fifteen years. In 1765 Honoré Savy applied for permission to start making porcelain. The minister, Bertin, was discouraging. That year he became a member of the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture of Marseilles. Jean Savy (4 December 1906 – 17 June 1993) was a French citizen and a commander in the French army. Early life William Jean Savy was born in Sarcelles, Seine-et-Oise, France on 4 December 1906. He attended École Libre des Sciences Politiques, l'Ecole des Science Politique in Paris and read Law. After completing his studies, he practiced Law. Savannah Mckenzie King (born February 7, 2005) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Angel City FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She played one season of college soccer for the North Carolina Tar Heels before being drafted second overall by Bay FC in the 2024 NWSL Draft. She represented the United States at the under-17 and under-20 level, helping win bronze at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.
