Savier Footwear was a Portland, Oregon based skate shoe company operating from 2000-2004. Company history Founded in 2000 by Paul Fidrych, Savier Footwear was a short lived skate shoe company. Savier experimented with shoe material technology and designs uncommon in the skate shoe industry including partnering with Nike and using their Zoom Air technology and using a highly durable patented polymer. The company consisted of Fidrych, industry veteran Jeff Jewett, and, former professional snowboarder Rob LaVigne who was formerly in charge of Adidas’ skate program, joined by Hunter Muraira leading apparel and product. Brian Anderson (born June 12, 1976) is a professional skateboarder based in Queens, New York City. Biography Early life Anderson is a native of the U.S. state of Connecticut. Professional skateboarding Anderson attained professional status in around August 1998 while riding for Toy Machine and was named '' Thrasher'' magazine's "Skater of the Year" the following year after he joined the Girl Skateboards team. Paul Martin Rodriguez Jr. (born December 31, 1984), also known by his nickname P-Rod, is an American professional street skateboarder, actor, rapper, and recording artist. Rodriguez has won a total of eight medals at the X Games, four of them gold, with the most recent first-place victory occurring in Los Angeles, California in July 2012. Stefan Janoski (born July 18, 1979) is an American professional skateboarder, artist, writer and musician, who is well known for his signature Nike SB shoe model, the "Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski". Among followers of professional skateboarding, Janoski is known for his "switch-stance" skills and casual style. Early life Janoski's home town is Vacaville, California. He began skateboarding in 1992. Janoski later explained in a Nike promotional segment that he tried to emulate Mike Carroll following Carroll's video part in Plan B Skateboards' ''Virtual Reality''.
