Sarus (Goth)
Sarus or Saurus (d. 413 AD) was a Goths, Gothic chieftain known as a particularly brave and skillful warrior. He became a commander for the Emperor Honorius (emperor), Honorius. He was known for his hostility to the prominent Gothic brothers-in-law Alaric I and Athaulf, and was the brother of Sigeric, who briefly ruled the Goths in 415. War against Radagaisus Nothing is known of his life before he came to prominence in 406, when he commanded a force of Gothic troops along with other barbarian ''foederati'' against the invasion of Italy by Radagaisus in 405–6 (War of Radagaisus). Roman and foederati forces eventually defeated the invaders at the Battle of Faesulae (406), Battle of Faesulae. According to Wijnendaele, the arrival of Sarus can be explained on the scene by connecting him to one of the three groups in which Radagaisus' army was divided. Eden Phillpotts (4 November 1862 – 29 December 1960) was an English author, poet and dramatist. He was born in Mount Abu, India, was educated in Plymouth, Devon, and worked as an insurance officer for ten years before studying for the stage and eventually becoming a writer. Life Eden Phillpotts was a great-nephew of Henry Phillpotts, Bishop of Exeter. His father Henry Phillpotts was a son of the bishop's younger brother Thomas Phillpotts. Lizardfish
The Synodontidae or lizardfishes(or typical lizardfish to distinguish them from the Bathysauridae and Pseudotrichonotidae) are benthic (bottom-dwelling) marine and estuarine bony fishes that belong to the aulopiform fish order, a diverse group of marine ray-finned fish consisting of some 15 extant and several prehistoric families.
