Satria Dewa Universe
The Satria Dewa Universe (SDU) (; ) is a live action media franchise of Indonesian superheroes adapted from Indonesian wayang stories from the BhÄratayuddha, a version of the ancient Indian epic ''Mahabharata'', as modern interpretations of those characters. There are eight films planned in this series which depict the descendants of the Pandavas (and the Kaurava antagonists), including '' Gatotkaca'' (2022), ''Arjuna'' (2023), '' Srikandi'' (2024), '' Kurusetra'' (2025), '' Yudhistira'' (2026), ''Bima'' (2027), ''Bharatayudha'' (2028) and ''Bharatayudha II'' (2029). Two films initially included in the series ''Nakula and Sadewa'' and ''Heroine'' were subsequently cancelled. On August 26, 2019, Erick Thohir and Wishnutama were announced as shareholders of Satria Dewa. The series has also been adapted for comics and merchandise. Kshatriya
Kshatriya () (from Sanskrit ''kṣatra'', "rule, authority"; also called Rajanya) is one of the four varnas (social orders) of Hindu society and is associated with the warrior aristocracy. The Sanskrit term ''kṣatriyaḥ'' is used in the context of later Vedic society wherein members were organised into four classes: ''brahmin'', kshatriya, '' vaishya,'' and '' shudra''. History Early Rigvedic tribal monarchy The administrative machinery in Vedic India was headed by a tribal king called a Rajan whose position may or may not have been hereditary. The king may have been elected in a tribal assembly (called a Samiti), which included women. The Rajan protected the tribe and cattle; was assisted by a priest; and did not maintain a standing army, though in the later period the rulership appears to have risen as a social class. Erick Thohir
Erick Thohir (born 30 May 1970) is an Indonesian businessman and politician who served as Minister of State Owned Enterprises since 2019. He has been the chairman of Football Association of Indonesia since 2023 and founder of Mahaka Group, a conglomeration that focuses on media, sports and entertainment. The former owner and chairman of Italian football giant Inter Milan and US soccer club D.C. United, Thohir is currently co-owner alongside Anindya Bakrie of the English Championship team Oxford United, and the Indonesian Liga 1 team Persis Solo alongside Kaesang Pangarep, youngest son of the former President Joko Widodo. He was also the president director of ANTV television station and the chief of the Indonesian Olympic Committee. In 2019, he became a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
