Shivaji University, established in 1962, is a state university located at Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. Kateekal Sankaranarayanan (15 October 1932 – 24 April 2022) was the governor of the Indian state of Maharashtra. He had also served as the Governor of Nagaland and Jharkhand.
