Sasuke Inari Shrine
is a Shinto shrine in Kamakura, Kanagawa, Kamakura and the site of the Hidden Village of Kamakura. It is located very near the Zeniarai Benzaiten Ugafuku Shrine. History Tradition holds that Sasuke Inari Okami, Inari Shrine was created by Minamoto no Yoritomo. While in exile in Izu, Yoritomo was visited in a dream by an old man from the Hidden Village of Kamakura who instructed Yoritomo of the timing to begin battling his enemies. When Yoritomo succeeded and became ''shōgun'', he created this shrine in gratitude. An alternative to this story has an Inari Fox messenger appearing in Yoritomo's dream. According to Kamakura Historian Shimizu Ginzō, the hidden village that was adjacent to the shrine was the dwelling of a band of people that were the antecedents to the Ninja. The remoteness and easy defensibility provided the necessary seclusion to conduct their activities which included elimination of enemies of the Kamakura shogunate. file:Sasuke-Inari-Shrine-MainShrine.JPG, Ma ...

Sansuke
Sansuke (三助) were male attendants in traditional Japanese sentō (public bathhouses) who assisted bathers by stoking boilers, checking water temperature, collecting entrance fees, scrubbing, grooming, and sometimes offering massages. They emerged prominently during the Edo period (1603–1868), after female attendants known as ''yuna'' were banned due to association with prostitution. The role required training in multiple bathhouse tasks feeding the fire, monitoring water heat, hygiene services and was sometimes extended to discreet sexual services. Typically, sansuke were regarded as upper‑tier staff in the sentō hierarchy, earning wages based on performance such as the number of clients served. Their prominence declined with the rise of home bathing facilities after World War II, though some records note their presence into the American occupation of Japan (1945–1952). Etymology of male bathhouse attendant Various theories exist to explain the derivation of Sansuke. In ...

List Of Legendz Characters
A list is a set of discrete items of information collected and set forth in some format for utility, entertainment, or other purposes. A list may be memorialized in any number of ways, including existing only in the mind of the list-maker, but lists are frequently written down on paper, or maintained electronically. Lists are "most frequently a tool", and "one does not ''read'' but only ''uses'' a list: one looks up the relevant information in it, but usually does not need to deal with it as a whole".Lucie Doležalová,The Potential and Limitations of Studying Lists, in Lucie Doležalová, ed., ''The Charm of a List: From the Sumerians to Computerised Data Processing'' (2009). Purpose It has been observed that, with a few exceptions, "the scholarship on lists remains fragmented". David Wallechinsky, a co-author of ''The Book of Lists'', described the attraction of lists as being "because we live in an era of overstimulation, especially in terms of information, and lists help us ...

Sarutobi Sasuke
is a ninja who appears in kōdan narrative art and fictional writings. The nickname is generally believed to have been concocted sometime between the Meiji to the Taishō periods. Some argue he is based on real live personages, such as and . His family name, meaning "monkey jump", is written with two kanji; ''saru'' (猿) is the character for "monkey", and ''tobi'' (飛) is the character for "jump". He was known for his monkey-like agility and quickness, especially in trees. Many depictions portray him as having been orphaned and raised by a band of monkeys, therefore giving rise to the monkey-like abilities. He has been described as a superhero ninja, and caused a boom of ninjas in popular culture during the 1910s-1920s in Japan. In folklore Sasuke is commonly listed as the leader of the Sanada Ten Braves, a fictional group of ten ninja that supposedly assisted the warlord Sanada Yukimura at the Siege of Osaka and he is by far the best known and most popular among them. ...
