Ajay Sastry
Ajay Sastry (26 July 1974 – 2 August 2024) was an Indian film director and writer who directed his maiden film called ''Nenu Meeku Telusa'' (2008). Life and career His journey started with a short film called "12" (Baarah) that was produced by KAD Movies and Rana Daggubati. In the past, he played the role of associate director and screenplay writer for movies such as '' Rakhi'' and ''Danger''. Ajay was also the lead singer of rock bands like "Alter Egoz" and "Jekyll and Hyde". He shifted to being an ad and film-maker. Kasibhatta Brahmaiah Sastry
Kasibhatta Brahmaiah Sastry (2 February 1863 – 29 October 1940) was a noted Sanskrit and Telugu scholar and who coined the term "Navala" in Telugu literature. He is an orthodox Brahmin scholar from Andhra pradesh. He was a great pandit well versed in Sanskrit and Telugu and an adept in writing critical literary essays in Telugu. He collected various religious Essays and Writings and published in 1911 by the title of "Upanyasapayonidhi". He had already learned the English language by that lime, and embarked upon a serious study of Hinduism and Sastras. He started a journal "Rajayogi" in kakinada. He was editing a monthly journal by the title of Aryamatha Bodhini. Patrayani Seetharama Sastry (also known as Saluru China Guruvu) (b. 1900 - d. 1957) was a singer, teacher and music composer from Andhra Pradesh, India. He was the son and disciple of Patrayani Venkata Narasimha Sastry. He spent his early life in Berhampur and gave his first performance in a temple and won gold medal. Melattur Venkatarama Sastry (1770–1830) was a Telugu poet and playwright who is credited with founding the Bhagavatha Melas. Early life Venkatarama Sastry was born in 1770 in Melattur in the then Thanjavur Maratha kingdom.
