Sasson Gabai
Sasson Gabai (or Gabay; ; born ) is an Israeli actor. He is the winner of an Ophir Award, Asia Pacific Screen Award (nominated), European Film Awards and Jerusalem Film Festival in 2007 as Best Actor in the highly acclaimed Israeli film '' The Band's Visit''. Biography Gabai was born in 1947 in Baghdad, Iraq, to a Baghdadi Jewish family. During his childhood he immigrated together with his family to Israel. After serving his mandatory military service in the Israel Defense Forces, he studied theater and psychology at the Tel Aviv University. After graduating, he began playing in the Khan Theater in Michael Alfreds group. Afterwards, he played in several stage productions at the Hacameri Theater, the Be'er Sheva Theater and the Beit Lessin Theater. He is one of the permanent staff members at the Beit Lessin Theater. Kidon (film)
''Kidon'' () is a 2013 French-Israeli spy action comedy film about the Israeli Mossad's attempts to find out who killed Hamas senior military commander Mahmoud Al-Mabhouh in 2010. In real life, Kidon is a secretive Mossad special operations killing unit. ''Kidon'' was written and directed by Emmanuel Naccache. The hotel scenes were filmed at a hotel in Eilat, Israel, standing in for the Dubai hotel where the actual killing took place. When the family of Al-Mabhouh learned that in one of the scenes his character drinks alcohol and submits to Israeli "temptress" Bar Refaeli, the family said it would sue to stop the film's distribution arguing that it hurt the Hamas commander's reputation. Captain James Hook is the main antagonist of J. M. Barrie's 1904 play ''Peter and Wendy, Peter Pan; or, the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up'' and its various adaptations, in which he is Peter Pan's archenemy. ''Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?'' is a play by Edward Albee first staged in October 1962. It examines the complexities of the marriage of middle-aged couple Martha and George. Mike Alfreds
Michael Alfreds (born 5 June 1934) is an English theatre director, adaptor, translator and teacher. Biography Michael Alfreds was born in London in 1934 and trained as a director at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. He lived in the United States for eight years (1954–1962), during which time he worked for MGM Studios in Hollywood, was artistic director of Theatre West, Tucson, and then of the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. For five years he worked in Israel (1970–1975), where he became the artistic director of the Jerusalem Khan Theatre and contributed immensely to its development. In the UK, Alfreds founded Shared Experience in 1975 and ran it for thirteen years.
