Sasanka Samir
Sasanka Samir (born 3 September 1982), fondly known as Tinku, is an Indian actor, director, writer, lyricist, and composer known for his contributions to Assamese cinema and television. He gained prominence for directing, writing, and scripting the biographical drama ''Bhaimon Da'' (2025), which pays tribute to legendary Assamese filmmaker Munin Barua. Samir has also made significant contributions to the television series ''Beharbari Outpost'' and various Assamese films and music projects. Early life and education Sasanka Samir was born on 3 September 1982 in Bormuria Goan, Assam, India. He completed his schooling at Saint Mary’s School, Lakhimpur, and Government High Secondary School, Lakhimpur. He graduated from North Lakhimpur College, where he was recognized as the Best Actor and Best Director by the institution.
