Har Bilas Sarda
Har Bilas Sarda (1867–1955) was an Indian academic, judge and politician. He is best known for having introduced the Child Marriage Restraint Act (1929). Early life Har Bilas Sarda was born on 3 June 1867 in Ajmer, in a Maheshwari family. His father Sriyut Har Narayan Sarda (Maheshwari) was a Vedantist, who worked as a librarian at the Government College, Ajmer. He had a sister who died in September 1892. Sarda passed his matriculation exam in 1883. Subsequently, he studied at the Agra College (then affiliated to Calcutta University), and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in 1888. He passed with Honours in English, and also studied philosophy and Persian. He started his career as a teacher in the Government College, Ajmer, in 1889. He wanted to pursue further studies at the Oxford University, but abandoned his plans because of his father's poor health. ''Dreadnought!'' is a '' Star Trek: The Original Series'' novel written by Diane Carey. It is written in the first person from the perspective of Lieutenant Piper. Plot The novel begins with Lt. Piper (no last name), a native of Proxima Beta, taking the '' Kobayashi Maru'' simulation at Starfleet Academy. After her "ship" takes several hits and sustains heavy damage, Lt. Piper uses an unusual method to issue commands to the ship's computer via handheld communicator. The technique results in the computer controlling the simulation crashing. Shurdhah Island ( sq, Ishulli i Shurdhahut) is an island in northern Albania in the Vau i Dejës Reservoir. ''8-Bit Theater'' is a sprite comic created by Brian Clevinger that ran from 2001 to 2010 and consisting of 1,225 pages. It is a sprite comic, meaning the art is mainly taken from pre-existing video game assets. The webcomic was at times one of the most popular webcomics, and the most popular sprite comic. The comic initially follows and parodies the plot of the first ''Final Fantasy'' game, following the "Warriors of Light" who are supposedly on a quest to find four elemental orbs to help them defeat Chaos. Instead, the characters mainly serve their own selfish interests, causing destruction in their wake. The success of ''8-Bit Theater'' contributed to the popularity in creating sprite comics, with one list recording over 1,200 sprite comics as of 2004. Sarda (goat)
The Sarda is an indigenous breed of domestic goat from the Mediterranean island of Sardinia, off the west coast of central Italy. It is raised throughout the island, particularly in the provinces of Cagliari and Nuoro. It is an ancient breed that has been influenced by the Maltese goat. The Sarda is one of the eight autochthonous Italian goat breeds for which a genealogical herdbook is kept by the Associazione Nazionale della Pastorizia, the Italian national association of sheep- and goat-breeders.
