Sarathi, also called Kadali Jaya Sarathi, (26 June 1942 – 1 August 2022) was an Indian comedic actor and producer in the Telugu film industry. Sarathi died from kidney ailments at a hospital in Hyderabad on 1 August 2022, at the age of 80. Telugu cinema, also known as Tollywood, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Telugu language, widely spoken in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. ''Manavoori Pandavulu'' () is a 1978 Indian Telugu-language film directed by Bapu and written by Mullapudi Venkata Ramana, dealing with the struggle against the feudal system in their own unique way. The film is remake of Kannada movie ''Paduvaaralli Pandavaru'' directed by Puttanna Kanagal. In 1980, he also remade it in Hindi as '' Hum Paanch'' starring Mithun Chakraborty.
