Sarah Williams (December 1837 – 25 April 1868) was an English poet and novelist, most famous as the author of the poem "The Old Astronomer". She published short works and one collection of poetry during her lifetime under the pseudonyms Sadie and S.A.D.I., the former of which she considered her name rather than a ''nom de plume''. Her posthumously published second poetry collection and novel appeared under her given name. Biography Williams was born in December 1837 in Marylebone, London, to Welsh father Robert Williams (c. 1807–1868) and English mother Louisa Ware (c. 1811–1886). She was very close to her father and considered her "bardic" interests to come from him. As a young child unable to pronounce 'Sarah', she inadvertently gave herself the nickname 'Sadie'. An only child, she was educated first by her doting parents and later governesses. Sarah Williams is a British producer and screenwriter perhaps best known for writing the scripts to the 2005 television film ''Wallis & Edward'' and co-writing the 2007 feature film ''Becoming Jane''. For her work adapting the novels '' Poppy Shakespeare'' and '' Small Island'' for television, Williams received two Writers' Guild of Great Britain Award nominations. Sarah A. Wescot-Williams (born 8 April 1956) is the leader of the Democratic Party Sint Maarten, Democratic Party of Sint Maarten and the first Prime Minister of Sint Maarten. Even though her party only managed to secure two seats in the 2010 Sint Maarten general election, Sint Maarten general election of 2010, she was selected as Prime Minister in the coalition agreement between United People and the Democratic Party. Following the collapse of the first Wescot-Williams cabinet in April 2012, she was again designated Prime Minister in the second Wescot-Williams cabinet installed on 21 May 2012. On 19 December 2014 Wescot-Williams was succeeded as prime minister by Marcel Gumbs.
