Sarah Nikitin
Sarah de Oliveira Nikitin (born December 27, 1988) is a Brazilian competitive archer. A member of Brazil's archery squad in three editions of the Pan American Games (2007, 2011, and 2015), and at the 2016 Summer Olympics, Nikitin scored her only career medal with a bronze over Venezuela's Leidys Brito in the women's individual recurve tournament at the 2014 South American Games in Santiago, Chile. Nikitin currently trains under the tutelage of head coach Evandro Azevedo for the Brazilian national squad, while shooting at a local archery range in her native São Paulo. Nikitin was selected by the Brazilian Olympic Committee to compete for the host nation's archery squad at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, shooting in both individual and team recurve tournaments. Brazilian Olympic Committee
The Brazilian Olympic Committee or BOC ( pt, Comitê Olímpico do Brasil – COB) is the highest authority in Brazilian sport and the governing body of Brazilian Olympic sport. It was officially founded on June 8, 1914, but World War I caused its official activities to begin only in 1935. It was founded at the headquarters of the Brazilian Federation of Rowing Societies (''Federação Brasileira das Sociedades de Remo'') as an initiative from the Metropolitan League of Athletic Sports (''Liga Metropolitana de Esportes Atléticos''). The BOC has multiple sources of income, but its principal means of funding is its 2% share of all the profits from the Brazilian National Lottery and other games of chance. Kang Un-ju
Kang Un-ju ( ko, 강은주; ; born 1 February 1995) is a North Korean recurve archer. Kang made her debut in international competition at the 2013 Archery World Cup qualifying round in Shanghai, China, and later that year joined the 2013 World Archery Championships in Antalya, Turkey. She also participated in archery at the 2014 Asian Games. The following year she competed in the individual recurve event and the team recurve event at the 2015 World Archery Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark. The women's individual archery event at the 2016 Summer Olympics was held from 5 to 13 August at the Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. One of four archery events as part of the 2016 Olympic catalogue of sports, it was the fourteenth time a women's individual competition was contested as a discipline at the Olympic Games. Forty different nations qualified for the event, sending a total of sixty-four archers to compete. The defending Olympic champion was Ki Bo-bae of South Korea. South Korea's three archers were tipped for success, the nation having won all but one of the event's gold medals since the 1984 Summer Olympics.
