Sarah Martin (musician)
Sarah Martin (born 12 February 1974) is the violin player and one of the primary vocalists in the Scottish indie pop band Belle and Sebastian. Besides violin, Martin plays recorder (musical instrument), recorder, stylophone, melodica, guitar and flute. She joined the band right before the recording of ''If You're Feeling Sinister'' (1996). She was born in Blackburn, England. Blackburn () is an industrial town and the administrative centre of the Blackburn with Darwen borough in Lancashire, England. ''Dear Catastrophe Waitress'' is the sixth studio album by the Scottish indie pop band Belle & Sebastian, released on 6 October 2003 on Rough Trade Records. It was produced by Trevor Horn. "Stay Loose" was released to radio on 24 February 2004.
