Sarah (born Sarai) is a biblical matriarch, prophet, and major figure in Abrahamic religions. Sarah Edith Hall is a British politician who has been the Member of Parliament for Warrington South as a member of the Labour & Co-operative Party since 2024. Political career Hall was elected as a Councillor on Warrington Borough Council in the 2016 Warrington Borough Council election representing the ward Bewsey & Whitecross. In 2021, she was appointed as Cabinet Member for Children's Services. She stepped down before the 2024 local election. In November 2024, Hall voted in favour of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, which proposes to legalise assisted suicide. Personal life Hall is married to Thomas Hall. Her father-in-law Mike Hall served as Labour MP for Warrington South from 1992 to 1997. Sarah Hall is a stained glass artist from Canada. Sarah Hall is internationally recognized for her large-scale art glass installations and solar projects. Her work can be found in churches, synagogues, schools, and other commercial and public buildings in Canada, the US, and Europe. Over the past decade Hall has pioneered a new direction in architectural glass in North America: merging artistic glass design with technical innovations related to green building and bird friendly glass. In 2019 her professional contributions and technical innovations in the field were recognized through her appointment to the Order of Canada. Sarah Hall FRSL (born 1974) is an English novelist and short story writer. Her critically acclaimed second novel, '' The Electric Michelangelo'', was nominated for the 2004 Man Booker Prize. She lives in Cumbria. Biography Hall was born in Carlisle, Cumbria. She obtained a degree in English and Art History from Aberystwyth University before taking an MLitt in Creative Writing at the University of St Andrews, where she briefly taught on the undergraduate Creative Writing programme. She still teaches creative writing, regularly giving courses for the Arvon Foundation. She began her writing career as a poet, publishing poems in various literary magazines. Sarah Hall (born 1972), best known under the pseudonym Sarah Vaughan, is a British writer and journalist. Until 2008, she worked for ''The Guardian'' as a senior reporter, health correspondent, and political correspondent. She published her first book in 2014. As a novelist, Hall is known for a number of psychological thrillers which often deal with themes such as power and privilege, and the pressures placed on women. Many of her novels have been translated and were successful internationally. Her third novel, ''Anatomy of a Scandal'', has been adapted for television. (2022). Sarah Hall Judson (; November 4, 1803 – September 1, 1845) was an American missionary and writer. Biography Sarah Hall was born in Alstead, New Hampshire. She spent twenty years of her life in Burma (now known as Myanmar) doing missionary work. She and her husband George Boardman sailed to Burma in 1824, just one week after their wedding. They had a son also named George Dana Boardman, often referred to as "George Boardman the Younger". She was widowed in 1830. Although during this era a widowed missionary wife would be expected to return to her homeland, Boardman continued to proselytize Karen in the jungles and supervised mission schools. In April 4,1834, she married Adoniram Judson. In 1844, she gave birth to Edward Judson, who later pastored a church in New York City named after his father. Sarah Hall Ladd (April 13, 1860 – March 30, 1927) was an early 20th-century American pictorial and landscape photographer. Early life Ladd was born Sarah L. Hall in Somerville, Massachusetts, the daughter of John Gill Hall and Sarah Cushing. Little is known about her childhood. On September 7, 1881, she married Charles E. Ladd, a West Coast businessman and son of early Portland (Oregon) mayor William S. Ladd. She then moved to Portland with her new husband, and they soon settled into a very comfortable life with an elegant home overlooking the Willamette River. Career It is not known how Ladd became interested in photography or if she received any formal training. Sarah Ewing Hall (October 30, 1761 – April 8, 1830) was an American educator, poet, and essayist of Christian literature. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the Reverend John Ewing, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church and Provost of the University of Pennsylvania, and Hannah (Sergeant) Ewing. She was taught at home by her father and by his learned guests' instructive dialogues. Her favorite subject was astronomy, where her father was an expert. She also gained vast knowledge of Greek and Latin when listening to her brothers recite. In 1782, she married John Hall, who was the son of a wealthy Maryland planter, and they had eleven children, residing in relative solitude on his farm in Maryland for the next eight years.
