Sarah Kelly Elfreth (born September 9, 1988) is a Democratic member of the Maryland Senate representing the 30th district. Background Elfreth was born and raised in Barrington, New Jersey, where her stepfather worked as a locomotive engineer and her mother worked as a probation officer. She graduated from Haddon Heights High School in 2006, and attended Towson University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 2010 and submitted a thesis on how having students participate in governing boards can make them more effective. In 2012, Elfreth earned her Master of Science degree in public policy from Johns Hopkins University, where she worked as a research assistant in the Office of Government and Community Affairs from 2010 to 2012. Maryland's Legislative District 30 is one of 47 districts in the state for the Maryland General Assembly. It covers part of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, it is home to Maryland's capital; the city of Annapolis. Until the 2010 census and subsequent redistricting, voters in this district selected three Delegates every four years to represent them in the Maryland House of Delegates. Starting with the 2014 election, the district was divided into sub-districts 30A and 30B. Martin O'Malley
Martin Joseph O'Malley (born January 18, 1963) is an American lawyer and former politician who served as the 61st Governor of Maryland from 2007 to 2015. Maryland's 3rd Congressional District
Maryland's 3rd congressional district comprises portions of Baltimore, Howard, Montgomery, and Anne Arundel counties, as well as a significant part of the independent city of Baltimore. The Chesapeake Bay Program is the regional partnership that directs and conducts the restoration of the Chesapeake Bay in the United States. As a partnership, the Chesapeake Bay Program brings together members of various state, federal, academic and local watershed organizations to build and adopt policies that support Chesapeake Bay restoration. Ronald Alan George (born August 30, 1953) is a former Republican member of the Maryland House of Delegates. From January 2007 to January 2015 he represented District 30 in the Maryland General Assembly located within Anne Arundel County.
