Sarah Cook (curator)
Sarah Cook is a Scotland-based Canadian scholar. She is well known as a historian and curator in the field of New Media art. Cook was a Research Fellow at the University of Sunderland, where she worked with the research institute CRUMB – Curatorial Resource for Upstart Media Bliss, that she co-founded with Beryl Graham in 2000, and taught on the MA Curating course. In 2013 she was appointed as a Reader and Dundee Research Fellow at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, University of Dundee. As part of her role as Dundee Fellow she founded and curated LifeSpace Science Art Research Gallery in the School of Life Sciences, University of Dundee (2014-2018). She is a trustee of folly in Lancaster. In 2018 she joined the Department of Information Studies at University of Glasgow as Professor in Museum Studies. Mass is an intrinsic property of a body. It was traditionally believed to be related to the quantity of matter in a physical body, until the discovery of the atom and particle physics. It was found that different atoms and different elementary particles, theoretically with the same amount of matter, have nonetheless different masses. Mass in modern physics has multiple definitions which are conceptually distinct, but physically equivalent. Mass can be experimentally defined as a measure of the body's inertia, meaning the resistance to acceleration (change of velocity) when a net force is applied. Vibeke Tandberg
Vibeke Tandberg (b. 1967) is a Norwegian photographer known for using herself as the subject of her work. In 2002 she had a solo exhibition at C/O Berlin. In 2003 she created a series of photographs entitled "Undo" consisting of self-portraits taken while she was pregnant. In 2017 Tandberg was the recipient of a Lorck Schive Kunstpris (Lorck Schive Art Prize). Kathy Rae Huffman
Kathy Rae Huffman is an American curator, writer, producer, researcher, lecturer and expert for video and media art. Since the early 1980s, Huffman is said to have helped establish video and new media art, online and interactive art, installation and performance art in the visual arts world. She has curated, written about, and coordinated events for numerous international art institutes, consulted and juried for festivals and alternative arts organisations. Huffman not only introduced video and digital computer art to museum exhibitions, she also pioneered tirelessly to bring television channels and video artists together, in order to show video artworks on TV. Paul DeMarinis (1948) is an American visual and sound artist, specializing in electronic music composer, sound, performance, and computer-based artist. Michel de Broin (born 1970 in Montreal, Quebec) is a Canadian sculptor. De Broin has created numerous public artworks in Canada and Europe, including the Salvador Allende monument in Montreal.
