Sara Vaughn (athlete)
Sara Vaughn (born May 16, 1986) is an American middle-distance runner. Sara placed 18th in the women's 1500 metres at the 2017 World Championships in Athletics. Vaughn placed 10th in 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships – Women's 1500 metres at the 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships. Professional On December 5, Sara Vaughn won 2021 California International Marathon in 2:26:53. This victory was her debut at the marathon distance and follows her 5th place 1500 m race at Diamond League Prefontaine Classic in August. Vaughn place 22nd at New York Road Runners United Airlines NYC Half-Marathon in 1:12:56. Vaughn place 21st at 2022 Boston Marathon in 2:36:27. The Colorado Buffaloes are the sport, athletic teams that represent the University of Colorado. The university sponsors 17 varsity team, varsity sports teams. The 2022 Chicago Marathon was the 44th edition of the annual marathon race in Chicago, held on Sunday, . New York Road Runners (NYRR) is a non-profit running organization based in New York City whose mission is to help and inspire people through running. It was founded in 1958 by Ted Corbitt with 47 members and has since grown to a membership of more than 60,000. Prefontaine Classic
The Prefontaine Classic, an Oregon Track Club event, is one of the premier track and field meets in the United States, held in Eugene, Oregon. Every year it draws a world caliber field to compete at Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon. Previously one of the IAAF Grand Prix events, it is now part of the Diamond League. The meet is one of the few international competitions to host the imperial distances of the Mile run and 2 Mile run. History The first Prefontaine Classic was held in 1975.
