''Sara'' is a 1997 Polish film directed by Maciej Ślesicki. Plot Leon (Bogusław Linda), a former commando, returns home after a job in Yugoslavia. One of his young daughters pulls a gun out of her luggage and targets another daughter. After his wife has left him, and Leon has lost himself in booze, he is roused for an interview with a local criminal ringleader, Jozef (Marek Perepeczko), who is looking for a bodyguard for his 16-year-old daughter, Sara (Agnieszka Włodarczyk). During the interview an attempt is made to assassinate Jozef, and Leon's quick action saves his life. Leon is awarded the job. The Sara languages comprise over a dozen Bongo–Bagirmi languages spoken mainly in Chad; a few are also spoken in the north of the Central African Republic. They are members of the Central Sudanic language family. Greenberg (1966) treats all varieties as dialects of a Sara language, whereas Tucker and Bryan (1966) consider the Sara to be a dialect cluster of several languages. Most members of the different Sara languages/dialects consider their speech form distinct languages, but there is currently insufficient language information to determine which speech varieties need to be considered distinct languages, and which are dialects of other languages. The Sara people, sometimes referred to as the Kaba or Sara-Kaba, are a Central Sudanic ethnic group native to southern Chad, the northwestern areas of the Central African Republic, and the southern border of South Sudan. They speak the Sara languages which are a part of the Central Sudanic language family. They are also the largest ethnic group in Chad. Sara oral histories add further details about the people. Máret Ánne Sara (born 1983) is a Sámi- Norwegian artist and author. Her work explores political and ecological issues affecting the Sámi and Indigenous communities of northern Norway. Career Sara's art focuses on Sámi identity and livelihood, specifically as it relates to political and ecological issues as well as reindeer herding. For example, ''Spirals of the Pile'' (2018) utilizes reindeer jaws and ''Gielstuvvon'' (2018) uses lassos. She made international headlines in 2016 with ''Pile o’ Sápmi Supreme'', an site-specific installation of containing a pile of 200 bullet-pierced reindeer skulls that had been frozen and were bloodstained.
