Saqib Mahmood Malik
Saqib Mehmood Malik is a retired three-star general in the Pakistan Army, who had notably served as Commander of XXXI Corps and Chief of Logistics Staff at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi. Military career Malik was commissioned into the 14 Punjab Regiment via 79th PMA Long Course. As a major general, he served as Director General of Punjab Rangers. He also held the tenure of Commander Force Command Northern Areas. In April 2021, he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant general and appointed as the Chief of Logistics Staff at GHQ, where he oversaw the Pakistan Army's supply and support infrastructure. Muhammad Aqeel is a three-star general in the Pakistan Army who currently serves as the Commander of the XXXI Corps, Bahawalpur, since May 2, 2025. The General Headquarters (abbreviated Army GHQ) is the direct reporting and the command post of the Pakistan Army, located in the Chaklala at the vicinity of Rawalpindi, adjacent to the Joint Staff Headquarters (JS HQ). Faiz Hameed
Faiz Hameed ( Punjabi & ) is a retired three-star general of the Pakistan Army, undergoing court martial. Faiz was the country's top Spy-master and served as the 29th Director General of the ISI from 2019 to 2022. He was commissioned in the Baloch Regiment having served as GOC 16th Infantry Division Pano Akil. He last served as Commander of the XXXI Corps before taking premature retirement on 10 December 2022. XXXI Corps (Pakistan)
The XXXI Corps is a field corps of the Pakistan Army, currently stationed in Bahawalpur, Punjab in Pakistan. It is currently commanded by Lt-Gen. Muhammad Aqeel as of 2025. History The XXXI Corps was formed and raised as part of the major reorganization of the Pakistani military in 1985– it was one of the three corps that were formed to address the security in the country.
