Santa Rosa da Serra is a Brazilian municipality located in the northwest of the state of Minas Gerais. Its population as of 2020 was 3,357 people living in a total area of 296 km2. The city belongs to the mesoregion of Triângulo Mineiro e Alto Paranaiba and to the microregion of Patos de Minas. It became a municipality in 1962. Geography The urban center is located at an elevation of 1,040 meters southeast of Patos de Minas in the upper Indaiá River valley. Poços De Caldas
Poços de Caldas is a Municipalities of Brazil, municipality in the south of Minas Gerais state, Brazil, in the microregion of the same name. Its estimated population in 2020 was 168,641 inhabitants. The city is known for its hot springs. History Poços was founded in 1872. The region had been inhabited by the Cataguases Indians, who were expelled from their lands by the ''Bandeirantes, Bandeiras Unidas Paulistas'' during their quest for gold. The place was first called ''Freguesia de Nossa Senhora da Saúde das Águas de Caldas'' ("Parish of Our Lady of Health of Caldas Waters").
