Sanna Nuutinen
Sanna Nuutinen (born 8 April 1991) is a Finnish professional golfer playing on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and LPGA Tour. In 2019, she was runner-up at the Tipsports Czech Ladies Open and in 2020, she finished 5th on the LET Order of Merit. Amateur career Nuutinen represented Finland at the 2007 and 2008 European Girls' Team Championship before capturing the bronze in the 2009 edition. She also played in the 2010 and 2011 European Ladies' Team Championship before securing the bronze in 2013 and the silver in 2014 as team captain. She also represented her country at the 2010 Espirito Santo Trophy and captured the bronze together with Krista Bakker and Noora Tamminen at the 2012 Espirito Santo Trophy. Nuutinen played college golf with the TCU Horned Frogs at Texas Christian University 2010–2014 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Psychology. Ladies Finnish Open
The Ladies Finnish Open was a professional women's golf tournament held in Finland. It was played as part of the Swedish Golf Tour 1998–2011, the LET Access Series 2012–2019, and after a one-year hiatus, part of the Ladies European Tour between 2021 and 2023. History Finland last hosted a Ladies European Tour event in the Ladies Finnish Masters (2005–2011). Aura Golf, founded in 1958 and one of the oldest golf courses in Finland, hosted the event 15 times between 1998 and 2021, and was also home to a men's Gant Open on the 2015 Challenge Tour. LPGA Qualifying Tournament
In professional golf, the term qualifying school is used for the annual qualifying tournaments for leading golf tours such as the U.S.-based PGA and LPGA Tours and the European Tour. A fixed number of players in the event win membership of the tour for the following season, otherwise known as a "tour card", meaning that they can play in most of the tour's events without having to qualify. They join the leaders on the previous year's money list/order of merit and certain other exempt players as members of the tour. Getting through the qualifying school of an elite tour is very competitive and most professional golfers never achieve it. Matilda Maria Castren (born 18 January 1995) is a Finnish professional golfer playing on the LPGA Tour. In 2021 she won the LPGA Mediheal Championship to become the first player from Finland to win on the LPGA Tour. Career Castrén won the 2011 Doral Publix Junior Classic in the U.S. and the 2013 Skandia Junior Open in Sweden, and was runner-up at the 2013 Portuguese Ladies Amateur.
