''Sankharavam'' is a 1987 Indian Telugu-language action film directed by Krishna. It stars Krishna, Bhanupriya, Rajani, and Mahesh Babu. The film was produced by U. Suryanarayana Babu under the Padmavathi Films banner. Songs were composed by Bappi Lahiri, while Raj–Koti composed the background score. Veturi Sundararama Murthy (29 January 1936 – 22 May 2010), known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet and lyricist who is known for his works in Telugu literature and cinema. Veturi is a recipient of the National Film Award, various Nandi Awards, Filmfare Awards, and other state honors. His career in Telugu cinema spanned more than four decades. Early life Veturi was born to Chandrasekhar Sastry and Kamalamba in Pedakallepalli, near Challapalli, Krishna into a Telugu Brahmin family. Annapurna (born Umamaheswari; 23 August 1954), also credited as Annapurnamma, is an Indian actress who appears primarily in Telugu films. Mada Venkateswara Rao (4 June 1935 – 24 October 2015) was an Indian actor from Andhra Pradesh. He acted in more than 600 films. He played notable roles in the films ''Mutyala Muggu'', '' Lambadolla Ramdasu'', and '' Mayadari Malligadu''. He was known for his comedy roles. He worked as an engineer in the state civil department before becoming an actor. He entered theater as a stage artist and also worked as a cine journalist.
