Sanjay Raghunath
Sanjay Raghunath (born 1 April 1995) is an Indian cricketer. He made his first-class debut for Vidarbha in the 2014–15 Ranji Trophy on 14 December 2014. He made his List A debut for Vidarbha in the 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 5 February 2018. In July 2018, he was named in the squad for India Red for the 2018–19 Duleep Trophy. In the opening fixture of the tournament, he made a century, scoring 123 not out. He was the leading run-scorer for India Red in the tournament, with 267 runs in three matches. Twenty20 (abbreviated T20) is a shortened format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the county cricket, inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of twenty over (cricket), overs. Together with First-class cricket, first-class and List A cricket, Twenty20 is one of the three forms of cricket recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as being played at the highest level, both internationally and domestically. A typical Twenty20 match lasts just over 3 hours, with each innings lasting around 90 minutes and an official 10-minute break between the innings. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field, at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails (small sticks) balanced on three stumps. Two players from the batting team, the striker and nonstriker, stand in front of either wicket holding bats, while one player from the fielding team, the bowler, bowls the ball toward the striker's wicket from the opposite end of the pitch. The striker's goal is to hit the bowled ball with the bat and then switch places with the nonstriker, with the batting team scoring one run for each of these swaps.
