The Sana ( sr-cyrl, Сана, ) is a river in the north-western part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a tributary of the Una, which it flows into at Novi Grad. It is the longest of the nine rivers that flow through Sanski Most, and is 142 km long. It is not a navigable waterway. __TOC__ Name The name of the river derives from the Latin adjective ''sānus'', feminine ''sāna'' hence ''sana'', which roughly translates "healthy" (''Aqua Sanus'' translates as healthy water / river). Sanski Most ( sr-cyrl, Сански Мост, ) is a town and municipality located in the Una-Sana Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
