Sanguisugabogg
Sanguisugabogg is an American death metal band formed in Columbus, Ohio, in 2019 by guitarist Cameron Boggs. To date, they have released one Demo (music), demo, one live album and two studio albums. Current members include drummer-percussionist Cody Davidson, vocalist Devin Swank, guitarist-bassist Cedrik Davis and guitarist-bassist Drew Arnold. While also being a reference to founding member Cameron Boggs' last name, the band's name is also a combination of "sanguisuga" (Latin for "leech") and "bog" (British English slang for "toilet"). History 2019–2021: Formation and ''Tortured Whole'' Sanguisugabogg formed in 2019 in Columbus, Ohio. On July 26, 2019, they released their debut Extended play, EP/demo, ''Pornographic Seizures'', through Maggot Stomp. In early 2020, original bassist Steph Barnes left the group. Vomit Forth is an American death metal band from Connecticut, formed in 2018. History The band released two demos and two EPs independently before getting signed to a record label and going on a North American tour with Frozen Soul, Sanguisugabogg, and Inoculation. On May 7, 2022, the band announced their debut album, entitled ''Seething Malevolence''. It was released on July 8, 2022, receiving positive reviews. Singles and music videos were released for the songs "Predatory Savior", "Carnivorous Incantation", "Seething Malevolence", and "Pain Tolerance". From 2022 to 2024, the group embarked on massive touring. In September 2022, they supported Creeping Death in that band's North American tour, alongside bands like 200 Stab Wounds and Tribal Gaze. Pain of Truth are an American hardcore punk band formed in Long Island, New York in 2020. , they have released one demo, two split EPs, and one studio album. Following the disbandment of his previous band Hangman, Michael Smith began to write and record songs during the COVID-19 lockdowns. These tracks were eventually released as the ''No Blame… Just Facts'' demo in July 2020, by which time he had enlisted a band lineup of himself on vocals Chris Rini on drums, Nik Hansen and Ridge Rhine on guitars and Zach Stachura on bass. Louder Than Life is a rock/heavy metal festival that takes place in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. The event is known to also feature whiskey, craft beer, gourmet food and multiple exhibits. It has made a large economic impact on the city of Louisville. History The first Louder Than Life was a two-day festival hosted at Champions Park in 2014. The 2015 festival also featured live matches between wrestlers from WWE NXT. In 2018 the festival was canceled due to continuing rain and deteriorating conditions at Champions Park. Defeated Sanity is a German technical death metal band from Dachsbach, Bavaria that was conceived in 1993 by guitarist Wolfgang Teske and his son, drummer Lille Gruber. The group's lineup currently consists of Gruber (drums), Jacob Schmidt (bass guitar), Josh Welshman (vocals), and Vaughn Stoffey (guitar).
