The Bureau for Intelligence and Security of the State (), shortened to as SAVAK () or S.A.V.A.K. () was the secret police of the Imperial State of Iran. Parviz Sabeti (; born March 25, 1936, in Sang-e Sar) is an Iranian lawyer, former SAVAK top deputy under the regime of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. Born in Sang-e Sar, Semnan Province.
