Sanghar District (, ) is one of the largest districts of Sindh province, Pakistan. This district lies between 25058'13 N latitudes and 69024'4E longitudes. It was a village before Mallah tribe were settled there. This district has the largest Mallah population. It has an area of 9874 square kilometres. It is located in the centre of Sindh and is bounded to the east by India. Tando Adam (; ) is a city in Sindh, Pakistan. Formerly part of Nawabshah district (now Shaheed Benazir Abad District) until 1955, it later became a part of Sanghar District. Khairpur ( Sindhi, ) is a city and the capital of the Khairpur Mirs District of Pakistan's Sindh province. History The Talpur dynasty was established in 1783 by Mir Fateh Ali Khan, who declared himself the first ''Rais'', or ruler of Sindh, after defeating the Kalhoras at the Battle of Halani. The death of Mir Sohrab Khan Talpur, founder of the Khairpur branch abdicated power to his eldest son Mir Rustam Ali Khan, in 1811.
