Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium is the on-campus playing venue for football at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, United States (also known as UGA). The 93,033-seat stadium is the ninth-largest American football stadium in the NCAA (and in the United States), and the 17th-largest such stadium in the world. Games played there are said to be played "between the hedges" due to the field being surrounded by privet hedges, which have been a part of the design of the stadium since it opened in 1929. The current generation of hedges were planted in 2024 (Completed on May 4, 2024, as an NIL fundraising event.) after the originals were taken out to accommodate the soccer tournaments for the 1996 Summer Olympics. Sanford Ltd is a New Zealand fisheries company, founded in 1904 and based in Auckland. History The company was founded by Albert Sanford. Initially, Sanford was a sole fisher, hunting snapper in the Hauraki Gulf, operating from his cutter, ''Foam'', a business which he began soon after moving to New Zealand in 1864. Sanford and his family moved to Pakatoa Island in 1870 and from there to Rākino Island, where the snapper catch was of higher quality. Sanford's Opera Troupe was an American blackface minstrel troupe headed by Samuel S. Sanford (1821–1905). The troupe began in 1853 under the name Sanford's Minstrels. The name changed that same year to Sanford's Opera Troupe. The lineup changed in 1856 and again in 1857, when they disbanded. S. S. Sanford Minstrels of Philadelphia performed and Sanford was described as the oldest living minstrel manager. He and his minstrel group were advertised at a Sanford's "New Opera House". Sanford Health is a nonprofit, integrated health care delivery system headquartered in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with additional offices in Fargo and Bismarck, North Dakota, and Bemidji, Minnesota. Archbold's bowerbird (''Archboldia papuensis'') is a passerine bird in the bowerbird family Ptilonorhynchidae that is endemic to highland forests of New Guinea. It is medium-sized, dark grey songbird with brown iris, grey feet and black bill. The male has narrow black scalloping with golden yellow crown feathers. The female is smaller than the male, with yellow patch on the wing and has no crown feathering. Taxonomy Archbold's bowerbird was formally described in 1940 by the Canadian zoologist Austin L.
