Sandra Sameh Samir Abdul Salam ( ar, ساندرا سامح سمير عبدالسلام; born 4 November 1997) is an Egyptian professional tennis player. Samir won the 2013 U-16 African Junior Tennis Championships. 2013 US Open (tennis)
The 2013 US Open was a tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 133rd edition of the US Open, the fourth and final Grand Slam event of the year. It took place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, and ran from August 26 to September 9. Andy Murray and Serena Williams were the defending champions in the singles events. Williams successfully defended her title, but Murray was defeated in the quarterfinals by Stanislas Wawrinka. Rafael Nadal won the men's singles. Joanna Garland (born 16 July 2001) is a professional tennis player who represents Chinese Taipei. She has won seven singles and three doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Early life Garland is half-British and half-Taiwanese. Born in Stevenage, she moved with her family to Taiwan when she was ten years old.
