Sandra McGrath
Sandra Burt McGrath is an American-born Australian art writer and historian, an art collector of the avant-garde, and a prominent art critic. A well-traveled and wealthy socialite, McGrath, (née Burt) showed talent in writing and developed professional interests in the art market in her late teens, and after marrying her Australian husband in 1959 and while raising their five children in Sydney, she became an enthusiastic patron. A friend of the younger generation of artists in her adopted country including John Olsen, Colin Lanceley, George Baldessin, Richard Larter, John Peart and Jeffrey Smart, she was an early biographer of Brett Whiteley in the influential first monograph on him. Kay Keavney
Kay Keavney (1921–1989) was an Australian writer. She was born in Sydney and completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney. She went to work at the ABC, the youngest person and the first woman to be hired as a scriptwriter by that organisation. She resigned from the ABC in 1945. In the late 1940s she wrote serials and plays for various networks and production companies and became one of the leading writers of Australian radio. She went to London to study writing TV drama at the BBC and wrote episodes of ''The Adventures of Long John Silver''. She won two Walkley Awards for her journalism. Franz Bonaventura Adalbert Maria Herzog von Bayern (born 14 July 1933), commonly known by the courtesy title Duke of Bavaria, is the head of the House of Wittelsbach, the former ruling family of the Kingdom of Bavaria. His great-grandfather King Ludwig III was the last ruling monarch of Bavaria, being deposed in 1918. Franz was born in Munich. During the Second World War, the Wittelsbachs were anti-Nazi. The family initially left Nazi Germany for the Kingdom of Hungary but were eventually arrested following Operation Panzerfaust in 1944. Franz, who was only 11 at the time, spent time in several Nazi concentration camps, including Sachsenhausen, then Flossenbürg and finally Dachau. After the war, Franz was a student at the University of Munich and became a collector of modern art. Susan, Lady Renouf (''née'' Rossiter; 15 July 1942 – 15 July 2016) was an Australian socialite. Her title was acquired through her third marriage to New Zealand businessman Sir Frank Renouf. She was best known as the wife of Harold Holt, who was prime minister of Australia from 1966 until his disappearance in 1967.
