Sandra Marinello
Sandra Marinello (born 29 May 1983) is a German badminton player. She was born in Duisburg, and started to playing badminton in 1995. Marinello was part of the 1. BC Düren from 2008-2014, and previously plays for the SV Thomasstadt Kempen, BV RW Wesel, TV Remscheid, SCU Lüdinghausen, PSV Ludwigshafen, and BV Gifhorn. She won the women's doubles title at the national championships from 2009-2012 partnered with Birgit Overzier. Together with the German national women's team, she won the bronze medal at the 2006 Uber Cup in Japan. She also won the women's doubles bronze at the 2012 European Championships with Overzier. Nina Gennadyevna Vislova (russian: Нина Геннадьевна Вислова; born 4 October 1986) is a badminton player from Russia. Along with her doubles partner Valeria Sorokina, Vislova is the first Russian Olympic medalist in badminton. Career Vislova won four medals at the European Junior Badminton Championships: two gold medals in women's doubles (2003 and 2005), a silver medal in mixed doubles (2003), and a bronze medal also in mixed doubles (2005). Chien Yu-chin (; born 24 October 1982) is a Taiwanese former badminton player. Summer Olympics Chien competed for Chinese Taipei in the 2004 Olympics in the women's doubles with partner Cheng Wen-hsing. They defeated Helen Nichol and Charmaine Reid of Canada in the first round but were defeated by Hwang Yu-mi and Lee Hyo-jung of South Korea in the round of 16. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, again with Cheng, they lost to Wei Yili and Zhang Yawen of China in the quarter-finals. Cheng Wen-hsing (; born 24 February 1982) is a Taiwanese former badminton player. She is now works as German national team coach. Career Cheng competed for Chinese Taipei in the 2004 Olympics in the women's doubles with partner Chien Yu-chin. They defeated Helen Nichol and Charmaine Reid of Canada in the first round but were defeated by Hwang Yu-mi and Lee Hyo-jung of South Korea in the round of 16. Cheng also competed in the mixed doubles with partner Tsai Chia-hsin. They defeated Chris Dednam and Antoinette Uys of South Africa in the first round, but lost to Zhang Jun and Gao Ling of China in the round of 16.
