Sandra Grimes
Sandra Grimes is a former Central Intelligence Agency, CIA officer who participated in a small team that investigated and uncovered the actions of Aldrich Ames, a United States government, United States counter-intelligence, counterintelligence officer who was subsequently convicted of spying for the Soviet Union. Early life Grimes was born in August 1945 to a couple who met in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and worked together on the Manhattan Project. She went to school in Los Alamos, then left and did the rest of her schooling in Denver, Colorado. While in high school she enrolled in a course in Russian language, Russian, in which she excelled and gave her the encouragement to later major in Russian language at the University of Washington in Seattle. The Pritzker Military Museum & Library (formerly Pritzker Military Library) is a non-profit museum and research library for the study of military history located in a state-of-the art facility in Kenosha, WI. The institution was founded in 2003, and its specialist collections include material relating to Winston Churchill and war-related sheet music.
