Altaussee
Altaussee (; Central Bavarian: ''Oid Aussee'') is a municipality and spa town in the district of Liezen in Styria, Austria. The small village is nestled on the shores of the Lake Altaussee, beneath the Loser Plateau. Occupying an area of 92 km2, Altaussee is home to 1,777 people. The municipality includes two cadastral communities: Altaussee and Lupitsch. The designated climatic spa is within the Salzkammergut region. Altaussee has the biggest salt deposits of Austria, which are still mined today. Geography The municipality is located in the small Ausseerland-Region within the Styrian part of the Salzkammergut in the district of Liezen in Styria. Altaussee covers an area of 92.11 km 2 and is located at 712 m above sea level on the western shore of Lake Altaussee on the southwestern edge of the Totes Gebirge. Sandling Railway Station
Sandling railway station is on the South Eastern Main Line in England, serving the village of Sandling and the market town of Hythe, Kent. It is down the line from London Charing Cross. The station and all trains that call are operated by Southeastern. History The station was opened as Sandling Junction on 1 January 1888 by the South Eastern Railway (SER). The station was situated at the junction of the SER mainline (between and Folkestone and the Sandgate branch line that had opened in 1874 between and . There were four platforms with a footbridge over the mainline, two signal boxes and goods sidings either side of the branch line. The goods yard was able to accommodate most types of goods, including livestock. The up branch platform was closed when the line to Sandgate was cut back to Hythe and the branch line singled in 1931. Sandling, Maidstone
Sandling is a Hamlet (place), hamlet to the north of the town of Maidstone, Kent, England, at the foot of the North Downs. It falls within the parish of Boxley. Notable buildings in the hamlet include the remains of the twelfth century Boxley Abbey, the Hospitium or Boxley Abbey Barn, the fifteenth century gatehouse chapel of St Andrew's, the headquarters of the Kent Wildlife Trust at Tyland Barn, and Kent Life open-air museum. Sandling's sign was erected to mark Boxley Parish Council’s centenary (1895-1995) and is based on ideas submitted by Sandling County Primary School pupils in 1993. It depicts Boarley Oast, the North Downs, the River Medway and Tyland Barn. Several Neolithic, Stone Age sites border the hamlet, including Kit's Coty House, Little Kit's Coty House, Smythe's Megalith, the Coffin Stone and the White Horse Stone. Sandlings
Sandlings is a 5.7 hectare Local Nature Reserve in Rushmere St Andrew, on the eastern outskirts of Ipswich in Suffolk. It is owned by East Suffolk council, and managed by the council together with Rushmere St Andrew Parish Council and the Greenways Countryside Project. This site has acid grassland, a wildflower meadow, and areas of scrub.
