Daily Journal Corporation is an American publishing company and technology company headquartered in Los Angeles, California. The company has offices in the California cities of Corona, Oakland, Riverside, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, and Santa Ana, as well as in Denver, Colorado; Logan, Utah; Phoenix, Arizona; and Melbourne, Australia. The ''San Diego Daily Transcript'', also known as ''The Daily Transcript'', is an online newspaper covering business news in and around San Diego, California. Its print origins date to 1882, when it was called the ''National City Record''; it took on its ''The Daily Transcript'' name in 1886. The original publisher was William Burgess. Charlie Munger
Charles Thomas Munger (January 1, 1924November 28, 2023) was an American businessman, investor, attorney and philanthropist. He was vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, the conglomerate controlled by Warren Buffett, from 1978 until his death in 2023. Buffett described Munger as his closest partner and right-hand man, and credited him with being the "architect" of modern Berkshire Hathaway's business philosophy.
