Samy Kibula
Samy Kibula (born 7 August 1999) is a Congolese professional rugby league footballer who plays as a forward for the Batley Bulldogs in the RFL Championship. He has previously played for the Wigan Warriors, the Warrington Wolves and the Castleford Tigers in the Super League, and for the Bradford Bulls and the Batley Bulldogs in the RFL Championship. He has spent time on loan at the Swinton Lions, the Dewsbury Rams and Featherstone Rovers in the Championship, and at the London Skolars and Oldham in League 1. Background Kibula was born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo to a Congolese father and South African mother. Aged 2, his family moved to the United Kingdom, settling in Wigan and later Tyldesley. The Widnes Vikings are an English rugby league club in Widnes, Cheshire, which competes in the Betfred Championship. The club plays home matches at the Halton Stadium. The 2018 Rugby Football League Championship is a rugby league football competition played primarily in the United Kingdom, one tier below the first tier Super League. The 2018 season is the fourth to consist of the Super 8s structure combining the Championship and Super League three-quarters of the way through the season. Leigh Miners Rangers are a community amateur rugby league football club from Leigh in the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan, Greater Manchester. Sale Sharks is a professional rugby union club from Greater Manchester, England. They play in Premiership Rugby, England's top division of rugby. Originally founded in 1861 as Sale Football Club, now a distinct amateur club, they adopted the nickname Sharks in 1999. Since 2012 they have played their home games at the A.J. Tyldesley () is a town in the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan in Greater Manchester, England.
