Samuel Fagemo
Samuel Fagemo (born 14 March 2000) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player currently playing with the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Kings in the second round, 50th overall, of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career During his Under 15 season, Fagemo won a silver medal at the TV-pucken, a Swedish national ice hockey tournament. The following season, Fagemo was called up Frölunda HC J20 where he scored in his debut on 22 October 2016, to help Frölunda beat Rögle BK 4–2. However, during the 2016–17 season Fagemo incurred a wrist injury as a result of an accidental collision with a teammate. He was forced to miss five months to recover. Fagemo made his Swedish Hockey League (SHL) debut in 2017, playing two games with Frölunda HC in the 2017–18 season. 2018–19 SHL Season
The 2018–19 SHL season was the 44th season of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). The regular season began in September 2018 and ended in March 2019. It was followed by the Swedish Championship playoffs and the relegation playoffs. The league consisted of 14 teams. The only new addition for this season was Timrå IK, who replaced Karlskrona HK after defeating them in the 2018 SHL qualifiers. Färjestad BK won the regular season, and Frölunda HC won the Swedish Championship. IIHF World U18 Championship
The IIHF U18 World Championship is an annual event organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation for national under-18 ice hockey teams from around the world. The tournament is usually played in April and is organized according to a system similar to the Ice Hockey World Championships and the IIHF World Junior Championship. 2020 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships
The 2020 Ice Hockey World Junior Championships (''2020 WJC'') was the 44th edition of the Ice Hockey World Junior Championship. It began on December 26, 2019, and ended with the gold medal game being played on January 5, 2020. Canada defeated Russia 4–3 to win the gold medal and their 18th world junior hockey championship. This marks the fourth time that the Czech Republic hosted the WJHC. On April 16, 2018, it was announced that Ostrava and Třinec, in the Moravian-Silesian Region in the northeast corner of the Czech Republic, would be the host cities. It is the second time that Ostrava has been the primary host of the tournament and the first time that Třinec is hosting in any capacity. The IIHF World Junior Championship (WJC), or simply the "World Juniors" in ice hockey circles, is an annual event organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) for national under-20 ice hockey teams from around the world.
