Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. () is a battery and electronic materials manufacturer headquartered in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Samsung SDI operates its business with Energy Solutions and Electronic Materials segment. The Energy Solution segment manufactures rechargeable batteries used for IT device, automotive, and Energy Storage System (ESS) applications, and the Electronic Materials segment produces materials for semiconductors and displays. SB LiMotive
SB LiMotive was a 50:50 joint company of Bosch and Samsung SDI founded in June 2008. The joint venture developed and manufactured lithium-ion batteries for use in hybrid-, plug-in hybrid vehicles and electric vehicles. It was officially ended in September 2012 with both companies focusing on automotive batteries alone. Milestones In September 1980, SB LiMotive Co. Ltd. started its operations in Korea. About one month later, the German subsidiary SB LiMotive Germany GmbH was founded. In July 2009, SB LiMotive acquired US-American battery manufacturer Cobasys LLC. The groundbreaking of the cell manufacturing plant in Ulsan, Korea was two months later. In November 2010, the plant's inauguration took place. Lee Myung-geun
Lee Myung-geun (; born 8 April 1978) is a former international South Korean rugby union scrum half and current South Korea Head Coach. Career He began playing at Yonsei University before playing for the Korean Armed Forces Athletic Corps during his compulsory military service. In 2004 he moved to Hong Kong to play for Hong Kong Cricket Club, winning the 2004-05 Hong Kong Rugby Club League. In 2005 he moved back to South Korea to play for Samsung SDI in the Korea Rugby League. In 2007 he moved to Japan joining World Fighting Bull in the Top West League, although winning the league they lost in the promotion play offs. With the collapse of World Fighting Bull in 2009 Myung Geun joined Top League side Kubota Spears. The Korea Super Rugby league (, formally the Korea Rugby League and Korea Spring League) is a semi professional rugby union league based in South Korea. It is run by the Korean Rugby Union.
